Family, Newborn & Wedding Photographer in Worcestershire & The Cotswolds

Much like the raw image files, this is unfortunately a no go. I have spent years learning and developing my craft and my own personal style as a photographer. My images are my babies - every single one of them has had my heart and soul poured into - and I really hope you book me as your photographer because you love my style. If you don't, then that is totally okay and I respect that, but I BEG YOU, please, book a photographer who you do love and will give you everything you want, including the right editing style. 
But please, leave the editing to the professional that you choose to book. We are professionals and you book with us to do our jobs for a reason. 

can we edit/amend our photos ourselves?

Unfortunately no, I do not. In certain circumstances you may be able to purchase the RAW files for a fee, but in general this is not something I offer and nor do I offer sending over every single image before I've culled the shoot. This isn't something offered by most photographers in my experience for lots of different reasons, but the simplest way to explain it is: photographer's photos are their own works of art. You wouldn't expect to purchase an unfinished piece of artwork from an artist and the same principle applies to a photographer's work. 

do you provide raw image files? 

Timing varies depending on the season and how busy i am, but generally Motherhood & Family shoots take around 3-4 weeks, as do Branding shoots. Weddings have around a 7-8 week turnaround time.

how much does it cost? 

I do!! I'm always happy for a little travel and adventure - travel within a 90 minute drive of B96 post code is included within my shoot prices, outside of this radius travel fees do apply so please get in touch for a full quote!

do you travel for shoots outside your area?

Let's be honest for a second - hardly anyone likes having their photo taken. And if you're one of the few who do, then i love you, I'm jealous of you, teach me your ways PLEASE! 
I'm going to be frank, I will not air brush my images or make you into something you're not. That's not my way and it's not why I do this job that I love so much. What I will do is help you relax, feel comfortable and capture all of the raw emotion and love and laughter that you want to see in your photos and be able to look back on in years to come - hey I'll even help pose you and get alllllll the most flattering angles you want me to!
Mostly though, I do this job because I want to capture the true essence and pure beauty of you and your loved ones in your most authentic states, even if it means having that double chin and rolls from a proper belly laugh, because that's you and that's who your nearest and dearest see and love every day, so you should too.

Here's some of our frequently asked questions and things we hear from our customers...

If you just want photos of the kids, that is absolutely fine, it's completely your choice, we'll do that and it will be bloody amazing, i promise. 
However, and I'm going to totally blunt again, I can't promise you won't regret it in years to come. Get in the photos. Be in the moment. Have fun and enjoy being in the middle of the chaos making memories!
Even if you never show a soul and the photos never see the light of day, they'll still be there for you to look back on, for your children and grandchildren to look back on, and you won't risk having that lingering what if i'd just gotten in the damn photo too...

I don't want to be in the photos, just take some of the kids!

It's actually surprising how often photographers get comments like this one and I won't lie, it's really hard for us to hear.
You absolutely LOVE "X"s photos? Amazing, SO DO I! But if this is the case... why are you booking me to be your photographer? You should be giving them the love and booking with them!! It's a community over competition attitude for me, and if you love their photo's so much, you should 100% be booking them, and it will not offend me in the slightest! I won't edit my photos to look like anyone's except my own. That's my style, my art. It's subjective and not to everyones taste, and that is okay! And if you can't book with your dream photographer because of budget? Keep looking, because I guarantee you will be able to find a photographer who is within your budget AND has the look and feel you've always dreamed of for your photos. 

I really love "X" Photographers photos - can you edit my gallery to look like theirs?!

This ones easy - just get in touch! We can have a chat, see what you require & I can send you over all the details, contract & booking confirmation.
I do take a deposit to reserve your space in my calendar, which varies depending on what you're booking! Weddings are a standard £250 non-refundable booking deposit and your date in my diary is not confirmed until this is received, with the balance due 1 month before your big day. Other sessions are usually subject to a 50% booking deposit, with the balance due 7 days before your shoot. 

How do we book - is there a deposit? 

Not exactly... Your deposit is due upon booking to secure your date, and the balance payment will be due either 30 days before your big day if it's a Wedding booking, or 7 days before for other session types. However if you want to pay over a few months/payments then this can certainly be discussed and I will try my best to accommodate where I can!
